Registration Terms & RulesIn order to proceed, you must agree to the following:

Before and after registering here, please read our forum rules. These rules are the key to you enjoying your stay here at FYI Sports Fans.
1. Advertising Policy
We are lenient on advertising here at FYI Sports Fans. You are allowed to advertise your website in your signature, but you may only have 1 line of regular sized text and/or 1 image. You may also advertise your website in our advertising board, but there is a specific post count you need to be at in order to advertise.
If we find you advertising through Private Messenger (PM), you will first receive a warning, then a permanent ban.
We also do not participate in any contests, i.e. Battle of the Boards. If you find the need that we must be involved, PM one of the Administrators.
2. No Inappropriate Language/Images
We will not accept any kind of vulgar language and/or images to be posted on FYI Sports Fans. There are instances where a “damn” or a “hell” would be appropriate, but anything further than that will be handled appropriately. Images that display any kind of sexual or indecent acts, moods, ideas, or poses will be removed immediately. This rule is directly from the InvisionFree.
3. No Spam
Spam is a type of post that adds no relevancy or meaning to the topic. Spam will not be tolerated here. The only exception to this is in the Sports Den, which is our community thread.
This is an easy way to remember spam:
S – Stupid
P – Pointless
A – Annoying
M – Messages
4. Flaming/Personal Attacks
No personal attacks on any member, ever, period. Understanding of one another's views is a necessity for any community, and our forums are no exception. Also, if somebody does post a personal attack, don't escalate the situation by replying. Click the "Report" link and it will be taken care of.
5. No Multiple Registering
No one is to register for more than one username. If you are discovered to have more than one account (your IP is used by administrators to identify this), you will be warned and the newest account registered will be deleted. If you are discovered to have registered a new account again, you will be banned--no questions asked. If you have a problem with your account and its an issue you can't remedy yourself, ask an administrator and we can change your account to suit your needs. Like if you have a family member and they register using the same computer, that is fine, but please notify us.
6. Signatures/Avatars
We are also lenient on this. All rules from Advertising apply here as well. Any avatars/signatures that are deemed inappropriate will be eliminated. Sigs that are oversized, flash, or could result in an medial situation (seizures) will be removed without warning.
7. Content of posting
You may not discuss any illegal products such as cracks, warez, illegal downloading software, stolen items, illegal drugs, etc. Breaking this rule will result in an immediate ban.
Please try to stay on topic when posting. For instance, if you are talking about football, please do not bring up a post that discusses baseball.
We reserve the right to remove, edit, or move anybody’s posts, signatures or avatars. If you have a specific question about this please contact an administrator via PM.
